Lethbridge Pride Fest Society invites you to vote early!

This past year alone, our community has faced and seen increased efforts to censor, erase, and harm the 2SLGBTQIA+ community; many of those are politicians. If we do not get out and vote, the harm from those politicians will continue. Lethbridge Pride encourages you to vote for a political party that celebrates you, listens to you, protects you, includes you in their policy-making, and helps push our community forward.

We will begin by meeting at Bread Milk & Honey Cafe, then we will walk to the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association (421 6 Ave S) and SLAY THE VOTE! We will also be joined by NDP Candidate for Lethbridge West, Shannon Phillips and NDP Candidate for Lethbridge East, Rob Miyashiro! Afterwards, we will head over to The Owl to celebrate as well as enjoy a show put on by our friends; Theatre Outré!

The great thing about voting in advance is that you can do so at any advance voting location! So why not join Lethbridge Pride and NDP Candidates for probably the most fabulous voting event we’ve seen!

To vote, you may:

• Provide one piece of Government-issued photo ID, including your full name, current address, and photo.

• Provide two pieces of ID, both containing your full name, and with one showing your current physical address.

• Have another registered elector in your voting area vouch for you.

• Have an authorized signatory complete an attestation form.

Who can vote?

• Canadian Citizen

• 18+ years of age, and

• A resident of Alberta!

If you can’t vote in advance with us on May 25th, you can still vote in advance until May 27th, otherwise, please make sure that your voice is heard and ballot cast on May 29th!
